The RE-EDID-4K22 is designed to manage and manipulate the HDMI/DVI EDID information provided to a HDMI source device by a connected display. EDID contains critical information about the capabilities of the connected display, including audio and video format support, HDMI feature support, etc. This product aims to simplify the technical complications that often arise when performing video system integration, home cinema installation, integrating commercial displays or audio/video equipment testing. It also supports EDID Emulation and Bypass modes. This device is perfect to overcome source and screen compatibility issues, particularly when integrating PC's into an AV system.

Emulator Mode : Allows the source device to read the selected EDID information from the unit’s default or learnt EDID memory
Bypass Mode : Allows the source device to read the EDID information from the TV/display directly
Supports DVI sources when used with a DVI to HDMI adaptor (not supplied)
Supports CEC functionality
